When the time comes, Angel of Death takes no prisoners.
In Horoz village of Burdur's Yeşilova district, retired shopkeeper İsmail
Sargın (58) had a breathing problem so he was transported in an ambulance
to Yeşilova State Hospital and from there to Burdur State Hospital.
Yesterday in the early morning hours Sargın was put into another
ambulance driven by Hamza Tokgöz. While travelling along the Burdur-
Tefenni highway an oxygen tank in the ambulance exploded for some
unknown reason.
The explosion caused a fire in the ambulance but driver Tokgöz, İbrahim
Bölükbaşı and Sargın's wife Teslime Sargın were able to escape. As İsmail
Sargın tried to leave the ambulance, though, a second oxygen tank blew
up, fueling the fire further and trapping Sargın, who was burned to death.
